Job Description
As a Full-Time Store Associate at ALDI, you will play a key role in ensuring the store's operations run smoothly. Your responsibilities will include merchandising, cashiering, and maintaining the store's cleanliness to provide customers with an exceptional shopping experience. Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
- Process customer purchases, maintain store cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays.
- Provide excellent customer service and support customers during their shopping experience.
- Communicate effectively with team members and store management.
- Offer feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues.
- Participate in inventory counts and ensure accuracy.
- Adhere to cash handling policies and procedures.
- Follow company policies while maintaining document security and confidentiality.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service.
- Efficient operation of cash register and store equipment.
- Proficiency in general cleaning tasks and adherence to company standards.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Capacity to work independently and in a team setting.
- Attention to detail, organizational skills, and multitasking abilities.
- Compliance with state and local regulations for alcohol sales.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous retail work experience is advantageous.
- A blend of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge.
