Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a vital role in maintaining a pleasant shopping environment for our customers. Your responsibilities will include merchandising, cashiering, and ensuring the store is clean and organized. By collaborating with the Aldi team, you will contribute to enhancing the overall customer experience.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate the required Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.) outlined for the role.
• Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and neatly stock shelves and merchandise displays.
• Provide exceptional customer service, aiding customers in their shopping experience.
• Communicate effectively with team members and store management.
• Offer feedback to management on products, inventory, and any issues.
• Participate in store inventory counts as per guidelines and ensure inventory accuracy.
• Adhere to cash policies and procedures to prevent losses.
• Follow all company policies, uphold security and confidentiality standards.
• Complete any other assigned duties.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service.
• Efficient and accurate cash register operation skills.
• Capable of safely operating equipment such as hand jacks and floor scrubbers.
• Proficient in general cleaning tasks.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Able to work independently and within a team.
• Organized, detail-oriented, and can multitask effectively.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail experience is a plus.
