Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the cleanliness of the store, ensuring an excellent shopping experience for our customers. You will collaborate with the Aldi team to deliver exceptional customer service and contribute to the overall success of the store.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.) required for the role.
- Process customer purchases, maintain store cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays effectively.
- Provide exceptional customer service by assisting shoppers and addressing inquiries.
- Communicate clearly with team members and store management, offering feedback on products and inventory.
- Support store inventory procedures and adhere to cash handling policies.
- Comply with company policies and procedures, ensuring security and confidentiality.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Ability to provide courteous and efficient customer service.
- Proficient in operating a cash register and store equipment.
- Demonstrated ability to follow company policies and procedures.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work both independently and in a team.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of multitasking.
- Meet all state and local requirements for alcohol sales.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior retail experience is a plus.
- A combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge.
