Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and ensuring the store maintains a top-notch appearance. By providing exceptional customer service and collaborating effectively with the Aldi team, you will contribute to an outstanding shopping experience.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.) consistently.
- Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays.
- Assist customers and communicate effectively with team members and management.
- Provide feedback on products, inventory, and any operational issues.
- Participate in inventory counts and adhere to cash policies and procedures.
- Follow company policies, uphold security measures, and perform other assigned duties.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Ability to offer prompt and friendly customer service.
- Efficiently operate a cash register and other store equipment.
- Perform cleaning tasks up to company standards.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team.
- Stay organized, detail-oriented, and multitask effectively.
- Meet state and local requirements for alcohol sales.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior retail experience is a plus.
- Combination of education and experience is acceptable.
