Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Store Associate to join the ALDI team at our retail store. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and organized store environment, and ensuring efficient operations in various tasks such as cashiering and stocking.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDIS Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
- Process customer purchases, maintain clean store premises, and organize merchandise displays.
- Provide outstanding customer service, help customers during their shopping experience.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and communicate with store management.
- Offer feedback to management on products, inventory, and operational issues.
- Participate in store inventory counts, follow cash policies, and adhere to company procedures.
- Perform general cleaning tasks according to company standards.
- Execute tasks efficiently and accurately using store equipment.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Proficient in providing prompt and courteous customer service.
- Able to operate cash registers and store equipment effectively.
- Understand and apply company policies and procedures.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and capable of multitasking.
- Meet state and local requirements for handling and selling alcohol.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous retail experience is advantageous.
- Combination of education and experience is acceptable.
