Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our store maintains high standards of customer service and operational efficiency. Your responsibilities will include merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the overall store appearance.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
- Process customer purchases, conduct general cleaning duties, and organize merchandise displays.
- Provide exceptional customer service and assist shoppers during their store visit.
- Collaborate with team members and effectively communicate with store management.
- Offer feedback to management on product issues, inventory discrepancies, and other relevant matters.
- Participate in store inventory counts as required and ensure inventory accuracy.
- Follow cash handling procedures to minimize financial discrepancies.
- Adhere to company policies and uphold document security and confidentiality.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years old or above to work at ALDI.
- Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service.
- Proficient in operating a cash register accurately and efficiently.
- Competent in using store equipment like electric/manual hand jacks and floor scrubbers.
- Capable of maintaining cleanliness as per company standards.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to work independently or in a team setting.
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior experience in retail is advantageous.
