Full-Time Store Associate ( $16.00 per hour)

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. In this role, you will be responsible for various in-store tasks including merchandising, cashiering, and maintaining a clean and welcoming store environment. By providing exceptional customer service and working collaboratively with our team, you will contribute to enhancing the overall shopping experience for our customers.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate the ALDI M.A.P. (Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills) consistently.
• Process customer purchases and maintain clean and organized store displays.
• Assist customers with their shopping experience and communicate effectively with team members and management.
• Provide feedback on products, inventory, and other store-related issues to management.
• Participate in inventory counts and adhere to cash handling policies.
• Comply with company policies and procedures to ensure store security and confidentiality.
• Perform other assigned duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service.
• Efficient operation of a cash register and store equipment.
• Capability to follow cleaning standards, interpret policies, and communicate effectively.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently or in a team setting.
• Meet requirements for alcohol handling and sales as per state and local regulations.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail work experience is a plus.
• A combination of education and experience will be considered.
