Full-Time Store Associate ( $16.00 per hour)

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring an outstanding customer shopping experience through merchandising, cashiering, and maintaining the store's cleanliness. You will collaborate with the ALDI team to uphold exceptional customer service standards and contribute to the store's efficient operations.

Responsibilities

• Process customer purchases and maintain a clean shopping environment.
• Stock shelves and merchandise displays accurately and neatly.
• Provide prompt and courteous customer service to enhance the shopping experience.
• Communicate effectively with team members and store management.
• Participate in inventory counts and adhere to cash policies and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and uphold document security and confidentiality.
• Perform other assigned duties as needed.

Physical Demands

Ability to lift and move merchandise weighing up to 45 pounds, stand for extended periods, bend, reach, and perform cleaning tasks. Must be able to fulfill duties with or without reasonable accommodations.

Qualifications

• Minimum age requirement of 18 years.
• Proficiency in cash register operation and equipment handling.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team.
• High attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to meet state and local requirements for alcohol sales.

Education and Experience

• High school diploma preferred.
• Prior retail experience is advantageous.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience is acceptable.
