Full-Time Store Associate (Entry Level)

Job Description

We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate (Entry Level) to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a key role in ensuring that our store maintains a clean, organized, and customer-friendly environment. In addition to providing exceptional customer service, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking, cashiering, and working collaboratively with the ALDI team.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.) consistently.
• Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays.
• Deliver excellent customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience.
• Collaborate with team members and effectively communicate with store management.
• Monitor inventory accuracy, provide feedback on products, and report any issues to management.
• Adhere to cash handling policies and company procedures to minimize losses.
• Follow all company policies while ensuring security and confidentiality of documents and data.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service.
• Efficient operation of a cash register and store equipment.
• Capability to interpret and apply company policies and procedures.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask.
• Meet all state and local requirements for handling and selling alcoholic beverages.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail work experience is a plus.
• Combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge.
