Job Description
We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at ALDI. As a Store Associate, you will play a vital role in merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the store's cleanliness to provide an exceptional shopping experience for our customers.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills.
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
- Deliver outstanding customer service and assist shoppers during their shopping experience.
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management.
- Provide feedback on products, inventory, and any operational issues.
- Take part in store inventory counts and maintain inventory accuracy.
- Adhere to cash policies, company procedures, and uphold security and confidentiality standards.
- Perform other duties as required.
Physical Demands
- Stock merchandise and place products on shelves.
- Engage in various physical activities such as sitting, standing, bending, lifting, and walking.
- Ability to perform tasks with or without reasonable accommodation.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Proficient in providing prompt and courteous customer service.
- Skilled in operating a cash register and store equipment.
- Capable of performing general cleaning duties effectively.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to multitask proficiently.
- Meet all state and local requirements for handling alcoholic beverages.
Education and Experience
- Preferably a High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Prior retail experience is a plus.
- A combination of education and experience will also be considered.
