Job Description

Join our team as a Full-Time Store Associate (Entry Level) at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you'll play a vital role in maintaining the store's appearance, assisting customers, and contributing to a positive shopping experience. This position offers the opportunity to work collaboratively with the ALDI team and deliver exceptional service.

Position Details

• Position Type: Full-Time
• Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
• Starting Wage: $18.00 per hour

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate the ALDI Acts Competencies and provide exceptional customer service.
• Process customer purchases, maintain store cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays.
• Collaborate with team members, communicate effectively, and report to store management.
• Contribute feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues.
• Participate in inventory counts and adhere to cash handling procedures.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Minimum age requirement: 18 years old
• Ability to deliver courteous customer service and operate a cash register efficiently.
• Proficiency in using store equipment and performing cleaning tasks.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask.
• Meet state and local regulations for alcohol sales if applicable.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent (preferred)
• Prior retail experience (preferred)
