Full-Time Store Associate (Entry Level)

Job Description

We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate (Entry Level) to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the overall store appearance. By providing exceptional customer service and collaborating effectively with the ALDI team, you will contribute to enhancing the shopping experience for our customers.

Key Details

• Position Type: Full-Time
• Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
• Starting Wage: $17.00 per hour

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management
• Contribute feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues to management
• Participate in store inventory counts as per guidelines
• Adhere to cash policies and procedures
• Follow company policies maintaining security and confidentiality standards
• Perform other assigned duties

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older
• Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service
• Efficient operation of cash register and store equipment
• Capability to perform general cleaning tasks
• Excellent communication skills
• Work effectively in a team environment
• Demonstrate organizational and multitasking abilities
• Meet state and local requirements for handling alcoholic beverages

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous retail experience is a plus
• Combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge
