Full-Time Store Associate (New Store)

Job Description

We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at the new ALDI store. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in creating an exceptional shopping experience for our customers. Your responsibilities will include merchandising, stocking product, cashiering, and maintaining the cleanliness of the store.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
• Process customer purchases, maintain store cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays.
• Provide outstanding customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience.
• Collaborate effectively with team members and communicate with store management.
• Take part in inventory counts and ensure accuracy with inventory monitoring.
• Follow cash handling policies and adhere to company procedures.

Physical Demands

• Stock merchandise, lift up to 45 pounds, and perform various physical tasks.
• Stand, bend, reach, push, pull, and walk throughout the store.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to provide excellent customer service and operate a cash register efficiently.
• Capable of operating store equipment and performing cleaning tasks to standards.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently or in a team.
• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask effectively.
• Meet all state and local requirements for alcohol sales.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail experience is a plus.
