Full-Time Store Manager Trainee

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Store Manager Trainee to join our team at Aldi. As a trainee, you will be immersed in all aspects of store management to prepare you for a leadership role. Your responsibilities will include overseeing daily store operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, managing staffing needs, creating operational plans, and supporting team development.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily store activities to deliver top-tier customer service.
• Understand and communicate company values, fostering teamwork among employees.
• Handle customer inquiries and resolution effectively.
• Maintain store presentation and product quality.
• Participate in recruitment and scheduling tasks.
• Establish job expectations and provide performance feedback.
• Manage store budget and expenses.
• Ensure a safe and well-organized store environment.
• Monitor inventory levels and conduct reconciliations.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and in a team setting.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Experience in interpreting and implementing company policies.
• Proven track record in leadership and performance management.
• Ability to operate cash registers and store equipment.
• Organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Familiarity with state alcohol handling regulations.
• High School diploma preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of retail experience.
• Prior management experience a plus.
