Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Store Manager Trainee to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Manager Trainee, you will undergo comprehensive training to learn all aspects of managing a store effectively and efficiently. Your responsibilities will include supervising daily store operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, managing staffing needs, and developing operational strategies.
Responsibilities
- Supervise day-to-day store activities to provide outstanding customer service.
- Implement company strategies and values to foster teamwork and employee engagement.
- Handle customer inquiries and ensure prompt issue resolution.
- Maintain store signage and product quality standards.
- Participate in the recruitment and hiring process.
- Develop and manage staff schedules to meet operational needs.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback for employee development.
- Monitor and achieve store budget goals.
- Ensure a safe and organized work environment.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Ability to work independently and in a team setting.
- Demonstrated customer service and leadership skills.
- Proficient in interpreting and implementing company policies.
- Prior retail experience, ideally in a management role.
- Flexibility to travel as needed within the division.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of progressive retail experience.
- Prior management experience is an advantage.
