Job Description

We are looking for a motivated individual to join our team as a Full-Time Store Manager Trainee at Aldi. As a Store Manager Trainee, you will undergo comprehensive training to prepare you for managing all aspects of store operations. Your responsibilities will include supervising daily store activities, ensuring exceptional customer service, managing staffing needs, and developing operational plans while fostering team growth and development.

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day operations to deliver outstanding customer service.
• Understand and champion company values to foster teamwork and employee engagement.
• Maintain store appearance and product quality standards.
• Recruit and interview potential store personnel.
• Create and manage staff schedules.
• Conduct performance evaluations and provide coaching for improvement.
• Monitor store budgets and ensure compliance with company policies.
• Recommend product selection and provide feedback to enhance offerings.
• Ensure a safe working environment for all stakeholders.
• Manage inventory and perform cash audits.

Qualifications

• Minimum age requirement: 18 years.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Strong customer service and leadership skills.
• Knowledge of retail management principles and practices.
• Experience in budget management and personnel supervision.
• Proficiency in operating retail equipment and handling sales transactions.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Compliance with state and local regulations for alcohol sales.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 3 years retail experience, managerial experience preferred.
• Combination of education and experience in retail management.
