Hiring Local City Driver / Forklift Operator, Full-time

Job Description

We are currently seeking a full-time Local City Driver / Forklift Operator to join our team at ArcBest II ABF Freight in Brooklyn, NY. As a key member of our operations, you will be responsible for the pickup and delivery of cargo to and from various destinations, using your driving skills to ensure efficient transportation services to our customers.

General Description of Duties:

• Handle the pickup and delivery of cargo within proximity of the consolidation/distribution center.
• Load and unload trailers using proper techniques and procedures.
• Duties and schedules may vary based on terminal location.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 21 years of age.
• 1 year of tractor/trailer experience required (Training available for qualifying candidates).
• Class-A CDL with necessary endorsements and no automatic restriction.
• Stable work history and safe driving record.
• Ability to pass DOT pre-employment drug screenings and medical requirements.
