Job Description

We are hiring a Local City Driver / Forklift Operator in Brooklyn, NY to join our team at ABF Freight, an ArcBest company. As one of the country's largest LTL carriers, we are looking for individuals who have the skill and determination to provide outstanding transportation and logistics solutions for our customers.

General Description of Duties

• Responsible for pickup and delivery of cargo to and from various destinations near the distribution center.
• Load and unload trailers using established techniques and procedures.
• Duties may vary based on terminal location.

Qualifications

• Minimum age of 21 years.
• 1 year of verifiable tractor/trailer experience required (training available for less experienced candidates).
• Class-A CDL with endorsements and a clean driving record.
• Ability to pass DOT pre-employment drug screen and medical requirements.
