Hiring Local City Driver / Forklift Operator, Full-time

Job Description

We are hiring a Local City Driver / Forklift Operator in Brooklyn, NY to join our team at ABF Freight, an ArcBest company. This is a full-time position that involves the pickup and delivery of cargo within the proximity of our consolidation/distribution center. You will be responsible for loading and unloading trailers using industry-standard techniques and procedures, ensuring timely and efficient transportation of goods.

Responsibilities

• Perform pickup and delivery of cargo to various destinations.
• Utilize forklifts and other equipment for loading and unloading trailers.
• Adhere to safety regulations and company policies.
• Maintain accurate records of shipments and deliveries.

Qualifications

• Minimum 21 years of age.
• Valid Class-A CDL with doubles/triples, tanker, and hazmat endorsements.
• Good driving record and ability to pass DOT requirements.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
