Job Description
We are hiring for the position of Local City Driver / Forklift Operator at ABF Freight, an ArcBest company. This full-time role based in Reno, NV offers a rewarding career opportunity to join one of the largest LTL carriers in the country. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for the pickup and delivery of cargo to various destinations near the consolidation/distribution center, utilizing safe and efficient practices. Your main duties will include loading and unloading trailers using forklifts and adhering to specific procedures for cargo handling. The role may vary based on terminal location.
Qualifications
- Minimum 21 years of age.
- At least 1 year of tractor/trailer experience (Training available for candidates with less than 1 year).
- Class-A CDL with doubles/triples, tanker, and hazmat endorsements.
- Stable work record and safe driving history.
- Ability to pass DOT pre-employment drug screening and meet medical requirements.
