HVAC Service Tech Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated HVAC Service Tech to join our team at Stevenson-Columbus - Service Experts, the leading provider of HVAC services. As an HVAC Service Tech, you will be responsible for performing maintenance and repair services for residential and light commercial properties. You will analyze, diagnose, and resolve customer issues related to heating, air conditioning, ventilation, and refrigeration equipment, ensuring timely and accurate service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform residential and/or light commercial service and maintenance calls with minimal supervision.
• Analyze, diagnose, and resolve customer issues in a professional and timely manner.
• Complete routine maintenance, equipment cleaning, and parts delivery/removal as required.
• Ensure excellent customer service and promote products and services to customers.
• Follow health and safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED with 2 to 5 years of HVAC experience and technical training certification.
• Valid HVAC licensing, EPA, and safety certifications.
• Proficient in servicing HVAC equipment, troubleshooting electrical and refrigerant systems, and performing installations.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and effective communication skills.
• Ability to work in various environmental conditions and lift heavy items as needed.
