Job Description
Join our team at L.L.Bean as an Industrial Master Electrician and be part of a group dedicated to helping people explore and appreciate the outdoors. This full-time position offers competitive pay starting at $37.00 per hour, premium pay for night shifts, great benefits, and a $3,000 sign-on bonus. You will work the 2nd shift, Monday through Friday, from 3:00pm to 11:30pm, at our fast-paced Order Fulfillment Center in Freeport.
Responsibilities
- Provide advanced electrical maintenance support across departments.
- Perform preventative maintenance on industrial equipment and facilities.
- Troubleshoot and repair PLC-controlled equipment.
- Install, maintain, and support robotics and scanning systems.
- Manage power distribution systems and lighting installations.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and handle Universal Waste responsibly.
- Act as a project lead and oversee contractors when necessary.
- Collaborate with internal clients to support technology needs.
- Mentor and assist junior electricians.
Requirements
- Licensed Master Electrician with industrial maintenance experience.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to prioritize tasks.
- Knowledge of NEC and NFPA 70E.
- Experience with PLCs, IEC blueprints, and electrical controls.
- Ability to work independently and in aerial lifts.
- Valid state driver's license and willingness to participate in on-call rotation.
