Job Description
The University of Vermont Health Network is seeking a Licensed Nurse Assistant specializing in Neurosurgery to join our team. As a Nursing Assistant in this role, you will be responsible for providing direct and indirect patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, with a focus on neurosurgical patients.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the care of neurosurgery patients by providing necessary support under RN supervision.
- Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes to the nursing team.
- Ensure patient comfort and privacy during care procedures.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive patient care.
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED preferred.
- Licensed Nurse Assistant (LNA) certification in Vermont.
- Previous healthcare experience is advantageous.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
