Licensed Practical Nurse

Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) to join Aveanna Healthcare. As an LPN/LVN, you will provide skilled nursing care, assess patient needs, and collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes. This role demands adherence to care plans, documentation standards, and strict confidentiality practices.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality patient care in alignment with physician directives.
• Monitor and report patient condition changes promptly.
• Document all care activities accurately and in a timely manner.
• Participate in care planning and execute nursing interventions effectively.
• Adhere to infection control protocols and educate patients and families on self-care.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited nursing school.
• Valid LPN/LVN state license and current CPR certification.
• Proficiency in clinical assessments and adherence to nursing protocols.
• Specific state requirements apply (e.g., pediatric experience in some states).

Preferences

• Minimum six months of recent clinical nursing experience.
• Prior experience in home health care.

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to communicate effectively in English.
