Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) to join the Hospice & Palliative Care team at the McClure Miller Respite House within the UVM Health Network. In this role, you will provide hands-on care to terminally ill patients, offering physical and emotional support to both patients and their families.
Responsibilities
- Deliver compassionate care to patients in either the McClure Miller Respite House or in their homes.
- Establish trusting relationships based on empathy, understanding, and respect for individual needs.
- Educate and guide families while providing comfort and support.
- Collaborate within a dedicated team to ensure high-quality and compassionate care.
Qualifications
- Active Vermont Nursing Assistant license.
- Demonstrated commitment to compassionate care and empathy.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a cohesive team.
- Prior experience in a healthcare setting is advantageous.
