Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Local City Driver / Forklift Operator to join our team at ABF Freight, an ArcBest company. As a key member of our transportation and logistics operations, you will be responsible for the efficient pickup and delivery of cargo to various destinations within the vicinity of the consolidation/distribution center. Your role will involve loading and unloading trailers utilizing advanced techniques and equipment.
General Duties
- Perform pickup and delivery tasks in a timely and safe manner.
- Adhere to established loading and unloading procedures.
- Operate forklifts and other equipment with precision and expertise.
- Follow specific schedules and requirements based on terminal location.
Qualifications
- Minimum 21 years of age.
- 1 year of verifiable tractor/trailer experience required.
- Class-A CDL with endorsements and a good driving record.
- Ability to pass DOT pre-employment drug screenings and medical evaluations.
