Job Description
We are looking for a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) to join Aveanna Healthcare's team. The LPN will be responsible for delivering skilled nursing care, coordinating patient care, and ensuring adherence to care plans and physician orders while upholding professional standards and confidentiality.
Essential Job Functions
- Deliver quality patient care in line with physician orders.
- Continuously assess patient condition, report changes, and document care activities.
- Participate in care planning and implementation.
- Take necessary nursing actions based on assessments and achieve desired outcomes.
- Education of patients and families on disease processes and self-care techniques.
- Maintain infection control measures and comply with regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited nursing school.
- Current, unrestricted LPN license in the state of practice.
- Current CPR certification.
- Proficiency in clinical assessments, documentation, and nursing care compliance.
- Additional state-specific requirements may apply.
Preferences
- Six months of recent clinical care experience as an LPN.
- Home health experience is a plus.

- Attention to detail, time management, problem-solving skills.
- Strong organization and communication abilities.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and reposition patients.
- Requires prolonged standing, bending, walking, and other physical activities.
Environment
