Job Description
We are looking for a Maintenance Mechanic to join Cargill, a global company committed to sustainable practices. In this role, you will be part of the protein and salt business unit, contributing to the production of high-quality food products for various customers. The position is located in Fort Morgan, CO, and offers a competitive hourly rate of $25.50, along with a sign-on bonus of $5,000.
Responsibilities
- Operate maintenance tools and equipment safely and effectively.
- Conduct preventative maintenance tasks, including Annual PM’s.
- Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues independently.
- Adhere to safety protocols and contribute to developing safety practices.
- Follow mechanical and electrical schematics to perform tasks accurately.
Requirements
- Availability to work a 4-day work week with 12-hour shifts.
- Proficiency in reading and understanding technical schematics.
- Ability to identify and resolve maintenance-related problems.
- Experience with LOTO procedures and certification.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
