Medical Science Liaison

Job Description

Jazz Pharmaceuticals is seeking a dedicated Medical Science Liaison to join our global team. As a Medical Science Liaison (MSL), you will be the scientific expert for our products in the field of Sleep Medicine/Neuroscience. Your responsibilities will include establishing and maintaining relationships with medical professionals, researchers, and opinion leaders, while supporting the development and communication of scientific information.

Responsibilities

• Provide scientific exchange on FDA approved and pipeline products.
• Establish and maintain relationships with opinion leaders.
• Support the development of pipeline compounds and Jazz Pharmaceuticals sponsored research.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Medical Affairs, Commercial, and Clinical Development groups.
• Document and report adverse events to ensure safe product use.

Requirements

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate scientific data effectively.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements for field-based scientific personnel.
• Demonstrated ability to build trust and relationships with opinion leaders.
• Willingness to travel and work evenings and weekends.

Education and Experience

• Advanced doctorate degree (PharmD, MD, DO, PhD or equivalent).
• 0-2 years of experience in pharmaceutical industry or clinical/research experience.
• Preferred experience in Sleep Medicine, Neurology, Psychiatry, or related fields.
