Job Description
We are looking for a skilled MRI Supervisor to lead our MRI Team in the Radiology Department at The University of Vermont Health Network. As the Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing all technical and compliance measures related to MRI operations, scheduling staff, participating in the hiring process, and ensuring safe and effective patient care within the MRI department. In addition to supervisory responsibilities, you will also perform duties as an MRI Technologist and provide guidance to team members. This position requires participation in a weekend on-call rotation.
Requirements
- Associates Degree preferred, or equivalent from an approved Medical Radiographic Program.
- Advanced certification in MRI.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in the relevant modality.
- Supervisory skills/experience preferred.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
