Job Description

Join our team at Aldi as an Operations Assistant to support the operations of our National Services & divisional offices. In this role, you will collaborate with various stakeholders, ensuring efficient communication, office support, and administrative tasks are handled effectively.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Communicate relevant information to support leadership and store personnel.
  • Generate reports for management decision-making.
  • Resolve operational customer complaints promptly.
  • Provide general office support to management.
  • Assist in ordering office supplies and equipment.
  • Maintain organized filing systems.
  • Identify, investigate, and report irregularities.
  • Conduct training and cross-training sessions.
  • Act as a backup assistant as required.
  • Interact cooperatively with internal and external partners.

Job-specific Competencies

Key competencies include attention to detail, organization, multitasking, teamwork, time management, proficiency in Microsoft Office, effective communication, data analysis, and customer service.

Education and Experience

High school diploma / GED required. Minimum 1 year of relevant experience. Associate's Degree in Business preferred.

Physical Requirements

Perform duties in an office or remote setting. Sit, stand, reach, and move regularly. Use keyboard/mouse frequently. Occasional lifting and bending may be required.

Travel

Minimal travel as needed for job-related duties.
