Job Description

We are seeking an Operations Supervisor I to join our team in Denver, CO. ABF Freight, part of the ArcBest family, is a leading LTL carrier with a focus on delivering customized transportation and logistics solutions. As an Operations Supervisor, you will be responsible for planning, supervising, and controlling resources to ensure timely, safe, and efficient loading/unloading of freight on assigned shifts.

Responsibilities

• Plan, supervise, and control resources for safe freight handling.
• Maintain load plans and ensure safe vehicle operation.
• Assign tasks to workers and monitor performance.
• Provide training and feedback, ensuring a safe working environment.
• Handle hazardous materials in compliance with safety regulations.
• Work collaboratively in a dynamic and intense environment.
• Support department goals and uphold company values.
• Perform other duties and projects as required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Experience in transportation or service center operations.
• Supervisory experience is a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Knowledge of freight handling techniques and regulations.
