Over Night Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are currently looking for a dedicated Over Night Nurse (RN) to join our team at Aveanna Healthcare. The Registered Nurse (RN) will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care in line with established care plans and physician directives. The role involves continuous patient assessment, care coordination, documentation, and adherence to professional standards.

Essential Job Functions

• Delivery and coordination of quality patient care following physician orders.
• Observation and assessment of patient condition with timely reporting of changes.
• Documentation of nursing activities, care plans, and patient responses.
• Implementation of nursing actions based on assessments and achieving expected outcomes.
• Education of patients and families on disease processes, self-care, and prevention strategies.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a valid RN license.
• Current CPR certification.
• Proficiency in clinical assessments, documentation, and compliance with nursing care standards.

Preferences

• Six months of recent clinical care experience as a Licensed Nurse.
• Experience in home health care.

Skills/Abilities

• Attention to detail.
• Effective time management and problem-solving skills.
• Strong organization and communication abilities.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to meet physical demands of the job including lifting, bending, and prolonged standing.
• Must possess visual, hearing, and sensory acuity.
