Job Description
We are currently seeking a dedicated Overnight Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) to join our team at Aveanna Healthcare. The LPN/LVN will play a crucial role in delivering skilled nursing care in accordance with individual patient care plans and physician orders, maintaining professionalism and confidentiality at all times.
Essential Job Functions
- Deliver quality patient care while adhering to physician orders.
- Continuously assess patient condition and report changes as necessary.
- Document activities, assessments, and care coordination promptly.
- Participate in the development and update of nursing care plans.
- Implement appropriate nursing actions based on assessments.
- Recognize and address changes in patient needs to prevent risks.
- Comply with Aveanna policies, regulations, and infection control measures.
- Educate patients and families on disease management and self-care.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited nursing school.
- Current, unrestricted state license as a Licensed Nurse.
- Current CPR certification.
- Proficiency in clinical assessments and documentation.
- State-specific experience requirements may apply.
Preferences
- Six months of recent clinical experience as a Licensed Nurse.
- Home health experience is advantageous.
