Job Description
We are currently seeking a dedicated Overnight Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join Aveanna Healthcare. As an LPN, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality nursing care to patients under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. Your role involves observing patient conditions, documenting care, implementing nursing interventions, and educating patients and their families on healthcare needs.
Responsibilities
- Deliver and coordinate quality patient care in line with physician orders.
- Continuously assess patient conditions and report changes to supervisors.
- Document all care activities, assessments, and nursing actions promptly.
- Participate in care plan development and update as needed.
- Implement infection control measures and educate patients on self-care techniques.
- Maintain compliance with Aveanna policies, regulations, and nursing standards.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited nursing school.
- Current, unrestricted LPN license in the state of practice.
- CPR certification.
- Proficiency in clinical assessments and documentation.
- Specific state requirements based on practice location.
Preferences
- Recent experience as an LPN in a clinical setting.
- Home health experience.
