Job Title: Part Time Stocker/Cashier

We are looking for a Part Time Stocker/Cashier to join our collaborative team at Aldi. In this role, you will be responsible for operating registers, stocking shelves, maintaining store appearance, and providing excellent customer service. Position Details

• Position Type: Part-Time
• Average Hours: Fewer than 30 hours per week
• Starting Wage: $18.50 per hour

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with team members and communicate relevant information to direct leader.
• Uphold security and confidentiality standards within designated area.
• Operate machinery, stock shelves, and ensure merchandise displays are tidy.
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers in their shopping experience.
• Follow company policies and procedures, including cash handling and safety protocols.

Physical Demands

• Required to perform various physical tasks including standing, bending, lifting, and walking.
• Stocker role may require lifting and stocking merchandise up to 45 pounds at different heights.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Excellent verbal communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
• Effective time management and product knowledge.
• Specific requirements for Cashier and Stocker roles.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma preferred.
• Prior retail work experience preferred.
• A combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge.
