Part-Time Store Associate/Cashier/Stocker

Job Description

We are excited to offer an opportunity to join one of the nation's fastest-growing grocery stores, Aldi, as a Part-Time Store Associate, Cashier, or Stocker. As a vital part of our team, you will serve as the face of Aldi, working collaboratively with your colleagues to provide customers with an exceptional shopping experience. Your responsibilities may include ensuring product availability, delivering high-level service, and more.

Position Details

• Position Type: Part-Time
• Average Hours: Fewer than 30 hours per week
• Starting Wage: $17.00 per hour

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with team members to communicate relevant information
• Maintain the security and confidentiality of documents and data
• Perform cashier or stocker duties as assigned

Cashier Responsibilities

• Process customer purchases and maintain a clean shopping environment
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience
• Offer feedback to management on products and inventory management
• Participate in store inventory counts and abide by cash policies

Stocker Responsibilities

• Stock shelves with fresh products and create appealing displays
• Follow merchandising guidelines and safety procedures
• Operate machinery for stocking and organization

Store Associate Responsibilities

• Assist with Curbside Shopping orders
• Handle cashier and stocker responsibilities

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Excellent verbal communication skills and ability to provide exceptional customer service
• Ability to work independently and within a team
• High school diploma preferred
• Prior retail experience is a plus
