Part-Time Store Cashier/Stocker

Job Description

Join the ALDI team as a Part-Time Store Cashier/Stocker and play a key role in enhancing the shopping experience for our customers. As a Cashier or Stocker, you will be responsible for operating registers, stocking shelves, maintaining store appearance, and providing top-notch customer service.

Position Details

• Position Type: Part-Time
• Average Hours: Fewer than 30 hours per week
• Starting Wage: $17.50 per hour

Responsibilities

Must be able to perform duties independently or with assistance:

Cashier Responsibilities:

• Process customer purchases and stock merchandise neatly
• Provide exceptional customer service and feedback to management
• Participate in store inventory counts and uphold cash policies

Stocker Responsibilities:

• Stock shelves and rotate products for freshness
• Follow planograms for merchandise displays
• Operate machinery and maintain safety standards

Requirements

• Minimum age requirement: 18 years old
• Excellent customer service skills
• Effective communication and ability to work in a team
• Demonstrated time management and knowledge of retail products
• Specific requirements for Cashiers and Stockers

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Prior retail experience a plus
• Combination of education and experience considered
