Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Patient Care Technician (PCT) to join the Cardiology Medical Surgical team at Hillcrest Medical Center in Tulsa, OK. As a PCT, you will work under the supervision of nursing and medical staff to provide essential care to patients, including assisting with daily activities, observing patient progress, recording vital signs, and performing basic patient transport and housekeeping duties.
Responsibilities
- Assist patients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and eating.
- Observe and report patients' progress to medical staff.
- Collect specimens for lab tests and record vital signs.
- Provide basic patient transport and housekeeping tasks.
- Measure and record patients' intake and output, assist with range of motion exercises.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED.
- Basic Life Support certification.
- Preferred: Completion of approved CNA, PCT or paramedic certification, or currently enrolled in nursing school. Two years of experience in acute or long-term care.
