Job Description
Join our team as a full-time Medical Surgical Patient Care Technician (PCT) at Hillcrest Medical Center in Tulsa, OK. You'll have the opportunity to work night shifts and make a difference in patients' lives. Eligible for a sign-on bonus of up to $2,500.
Responsibilities
- Support the delivery of care in a safe patient environment.
- Communicate effectively and carry out delegated tasks under supervision.
- Document observations and report patient concerns.
- Ensure safety precautions and patient comfort.
- Monitor vital signs and report patients' conditions.
- Assist with patient mobility, ADLs, specimen collection, and transport.
- Maintain a clean and orderly patient environment.
- Participate in hourly rounding and shift reports.
- Perform direct patient care duties and provide clerical support.
- Stock supplies and assist with range of motion exercises.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Basic Life Support certification.
- Competency in at least two general areas of practice.
- Preferred: Minimum of two years experience in acute or long-term care.
- Preferred: Completion of approved CNA, PCT, or paramedic certification.
- Preferred: Proficiency in phlebotomy.
