Position Summary
The Plumbing Manager will be responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating activities related to the construction and maintenance of plumbing structures and systems. This role involves overseeing project organization, scheduling, budgeting, and implementation, as well as supervising and delegating tasks to plumbing technicians and helpers.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate with supervisory personnel, technicians, and design professionals to address work procedures, complaints, and job site issues.
- Plan, schedule, and coordinate plumbing project activities to meet deadlines.
- Prepare budget estimates, progress reports, and cost tracking reports.
- Inspect projects for compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and environmental requirements.
- Organize and oversee installation and maintenance activities for plumbing systems.
- Investigate job site incidents and ensure adherence to procedures.
- Negotiate contractual agreements with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors.
- Develop quality control programs and implement new plans in response to emergencies.
Requirements
