Casteel Heating, Cooling, Plumbing & Electrical, a leading HVAC, Plumbing, and Electrical company in Metro Atlanta, is seeking a skilled Plumbing Technician to join our team. As part of our organization, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing plumbing projects to ensure the efficient construction and maintenance of plumbing systems.

Responsibilities

• Confer with stakeholders to discuss and resolve work-related matters.
• Plan and coordinate plumbing project activities to meet deadlines.
• Prepare budget estimates and progress reports for projects.
• Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards.
• Organize and direct the installation and maintenance of plumbing systems.
• Develop quality control programs and implement new plans as needed.
• Interpret and explain plans to project stakeholders.
• Perform prebuilding assessments and obtain necessary permits.
• Review installation methods for cost-effectiveness.
• Supervise plumbing technicians and helpers in their work.
• Requisition supplies and materials for project completion.
• Monitor labor requirements and dispatch workers accordingly.
• Coach and motivate technicians to enhance productivity and skills.
• Operate company vehicle safely when required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Plumbing Technician or similar role.
• Knowledge of plumbing systems, techniques, and materials.
• Strong organizational and leadership skills.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification is a plus.
