Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for a Private Duty Nurse (LPN) to join Aveanna Healthcare in the Upper St. Clair Area! As part of our team, you will provide quality patient care in accordance with physician orders, continuously monitor patient conditions, and collaborate with supervisors and physicians to ensure optimal care. Additionally, you will educate patients and families on disease processes and self-care techniques, while maintaining compliance with Aveanna policies and nursing standards.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and coordinate quality patient care.
• Observe and assess patient conditions, reporting changes as needed.
• Document all activities, assessments, and coordination of care.
• Participate in updating the nursing care plan.
• Implement appropriate nursing actions based on assessments.
• Recognize and prevent potential risks in patient care.
• Educate patients and families on self-care and prevention strategies.
• Maintain knowledge and competencies related to the nursing profession.

Requirements

• Minimum 6 months of nursing experience (New Grad Program available).
• Active Nursing License in good standing.
• Current CPR Certification (Hands-on BLS).
