Job Description
Are you a compassionate nurse seeking the opportunity to provide one-on-one care in a home health setting? If so, ChristianaCare is looking for a skilled Private Duty Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. In this role, you will deliver expert care to pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients, administer medications, coordinate care with families and healthcare providers, and build positive relationships with patients.
Responsibilities
- Deliver expert care to medically fragile pediatric and/or adult patients.
- Coordinate care with families, doctors, and other healthcare providers.
- Build positive relationships with compassionate and courteous care.
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered.
Requirements
- DE LPN or RN license with at least 1 year of healthcare experience.
- Attend a two-week orientation followed by patient field training.
- Previous home health or Long Term Care experience is a plus.
- Preference for tracheostomy and ventilator experience.
