Job Description
We are looking for a compassionate Private Duty Registered Nurse (RN) to join ChristianaCare's HomeHealth team. In this role, you will provide expert care to medically fragile pediatric and/or adult patients in the comfort of their homes, coordinating with families and healthcare providers to ensure the best possible care.
Responsibilities
- Deliver specialized medical care to patients, including administering medications and treatments.
- Coordinate care plans with families and healthcare team members.
- Build positive and supportive relationships with patients and their families.
- Attend a two-week orientation in our Camden office and complete patient field orientation.
- Work a minimum of two weekend shifts per month.
Requirements
- Active DE LPN or RN license with a minimum of 1 year of healthcare experience.
- Experience in home health or long-term care is preferred.
- Preference for candidates with tracheostomy and ventilator experience.
