Job Description
Are you a compassionate nurse looking to provide one-on-one care to patients in a home health setting? If so, ChristianaCare is seeking a Private Duty Registered Nurse (RN) to join our HomeHealth team. As a Private Duty Nurse, you will deliver expert care to pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients across Delaware, including administering medications, providing tube feedings, maintaining tracheostomies, offering ventilator support, and more.
Responsibilities
- Deliver specialized care to medically fragile patients.
- Coordinate care with families and healthcare providers.
- Build positive relationships with patients and families.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Work a minimum of two weekend shifts per month.
Requirements
- Must hold a DE LPN or RN license with a minimum of 1 year of healthcare experience.
- Completion of a two-week orientation at our Camden office and field training.
- Previous experience in home health or Long Term Care is advantageous.
- Preferably have experience with tracheostomy and ventilator care.
