Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join Aveanna Healthcare. In this role, you will provide skilled nursing care, following care plans and physicians' orders while maintaining confidentiality and professional standards. Your responsibilities will include delivering quality patient care, monitoring patient conditions, updating care plans, and educating patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver and coordinate quality patient care in compliance with physician orders.
  • Continuously observe and assess patient conditions, reporting changes as needed.
  • Document all activities, assessments, and care in a timely manner.
  • Develop, implement, and update nursing care plans.
  • Take appropriate nursing actions based on assessments.
  • Recognize and respond to changes in patient needs.
  • Comply with Aveanna policies, regulations, and infection control measures.
  • Educate patients and families on self-care techniques and disease processes.
  • Maintain nursing competencies through education and training.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited Nursing School.
  • Current, unrestricted RN license in the state of practice.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Proficiency in clinical assessments and documentation.

Preferences

  • 6 months recent clinical nursing experience.
  • Home health experience.

Physical Requirements

  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
  • Prolonged walking, standing, and bending.
