Registered Nurse - Mother and Baby Unit

We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse to join the Mother and Baby Unit at The University of Vermont Health Network. Our unit provides exceptional post-partum care, education, and lactation consultation to families after childbirth. With an average of 2,200 to 2,300 deliveries per year, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of new mothers and babies.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to mothers and babies in a postpartum setting.
• Offer education and support to families on newborn care and breastfeeding.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure the well-being of patients.
• Emphasize patient safety and follow established protocols and guidelines.

Requirements

• Valid RN license in the state of practice.
• Prior experience in postpartum care is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
