Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team at The University of Vermont Health Network. As a Pre-Op nurse in our 22-bay prep unit, you will play a crucial role in supporting patients scheduled for surgery. You will have the opportunity to care for a diverse patient population with various conditions, including both inpatient and outpatient cases. Our facility, a level 1 trauma center, provides care across all service lines.
Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate and quality care to patients scheduled for surgery.
- Conduct pre-operative assessments and preparations.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
Requirements
- Valid nursing license and BLS certification.
