Job Description
We are looking for a Registered Nurse specializing in Radiology to join The University of Vermont Health Network team. The ideal candidate should have over a year of RN experience, with a preference for previous Radiology experience.
Unit Description
The Radiology RN will perform specialized nursing duties including administering IV sedation, monitoring vital signs, caring for patients undergoing nuclear medicine treatment, managing labs and medications, and assisting in pre and post-intervention care.
Responsibilities also include caring for patients in various settings, designing patient care policies, and assisting in developing care plans.
Tasks such as starting peripheral IV's, assessing infusaports, suctioning patients, and assisting patients with personal needs are also part of the role.
